AFTER SPENDING YEARS AS A ROAD WARRIOR FOR A TECHNOLOGY COMPANY, CRISTI'S BODY TOOK A BEATING FROM LONG HOURS ON A PLANE AND LITTLE-TO-NO SPINAL MOVEMENT IN HER DAILY LIFE. HAVING HER FIRST BACK SURGERY AT THE AGE OF 23, SHE KNEW SHE HAD TO DO SOMETHING AS AGE WAS STARTING TO REMIND HER OF THOSE FORGOTTEN PAINS. Cristi began taking Pilates, and after 10 sessions she knew she had a big change to make—not only in her body, but also in her career. After resigning from 25+ years of work-life in corporate America, she trained to become a comprehensive Pilates instructor at the very same facility where she originally fell back in love with movement. After a move back to Southern California, Cristi began her journey into the study of movement for Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. Cristi has taught at multiple physical therapy clinics in Southern California which deepened her knowledge and understanding of very common movement disorders and pain management. Cristi is excited to be joining KOR Physical Therapy and Wellness. Cristi takes a therapeutic approach to movement, working with clients ranging from professional athletes to desk athletes, postpartum and active agers with the goal to increase their strength, balance and range of motion while incorporating breath work to help calm the nervous system. Cristi uses multiple fitness modalities to achieve healthy bodies.
